Sanjay Gupta, CNN's chief medical correspondent, has told network officials that he will not leave his television post, according to the Washington Post. He had been expected to join the Obama administration as Surgeon General.
Lately it seems as if the new president is having increasing trouble finding appointments who can pass the now tighter vetting process. Although no ilk yet of a problem with Gupta.
